Traditional healers would pick the fruit before it was fully ripe and place it in direct sunlight. When fully ripe, the fruit was mashed into a puree and the juice extracted through a cloth.  The juice was now ready for use.  As a general tonic, the juice was taken during times of rest.  In addition to the fruit, every other part of the Noni plant was valued and used.

Throat Cancer & Bleeding
My name is Barbara Anderson, and I am 65 years old.  In May of 1995, I was told I had throat cancer.  In June, I had a week of chemotherapy for 7 days and 7 nights.  I became deadly ill from it, and just about did not make it.  After that I had 4 treatments of radiation.  My throat swelled up, so they performed a tracheotomy so I could breathe.  The day after Christmas in 1995, I had a laryngectomy.

Limehouse, DVM, CVA, Limehouse Veterinary Clinic of Holistic Medicine:   When we first started dispensing the product, I was very selective and used it only in cases of cancer.  A high percentage of the clients reported back that their animals were acting very young and playful--more so than in a long time.  In a few cases, some tumors actually regressed--a squamous cell carcinoma of the gingiva of an old Labrador Retriever shrunk by 1/2 its original size; in a dog with multiple lipomes, several have decreased in size and some have even resolved; an undifferentiated mammary tumor on another dog is almost non-palpable within 1 month.
